Kuwait to provide loan for rural development project
VGP - Kuwait will provide a credit loan of US $14.6 million for a rural development project in the central province of Hà Tĩnh, according to an agreement signed on Friday in Hà Nội.
The agreement was signed between Deputy Minister of Finance Trần Xuân Hà and Mr. Hesham Al-Waqayan, Deputy Director General of Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development.
Up till now, Kuwait has financed nine projects with total volume of US $140 million for Việt Nam. The money has been designated to rural infrastructure development in poor provinces.
